Archery can be broken into two categories. a) target archery and b) combat archery
a) Target archery
All the equipment should be consistent with pre-17th century archery in look and function. The aim is to perfect your skills in archery. You develop your skills, with the help of others, shooting at targets striving to be the best archer you can be. You are basically recreating an essential skill of medieval time.
b) Combat archery
Combat archery falls into the marshal activities. Plainly said it is the art of shooting an arrow via a bow or crossbow at a armoured combatant. The rules are set to ensure safety above all. As part of a combat team you will learn how to safely engage in the art of distance warfare
