OUR BARON AND BARONESS

Words from our Baroness Admiranda Gower and Baron Perceval Gower

Greetings good gentles and welcome to the Barony of Ruantallan. As Baron and Baroness, we strive to be welcoming to all who are interested in learning, teaching and participating in our wonderful Society for Creative Anachronism.

Perceval became interested in the SCA in 1990 after seeing a flyer in the local college he was attending. Quickly diving in to join curia, learning how to build armour and fighting techniques. He has dabbled in scroll making, event stewarding, shoe making, armoured combat, fencing, archery and thrown weapons.

Admiranda started attending dance practices in Seashire after learning about the SCA through the east kingdom webpage in 2005. She began crafting her own costumes, spent time helping set up, clean up events, tending toll tables, and learning the art of archery to become a marshal. Her favourite part of the SCA is documenting events through the eye of a lens.

A list of what is best in life.

Perceval loves medium roast coffee with 2 cream, coconut, wine, jersey milk bars, pims cookies, coca cola and sleeping in.

Admiranda of course loves chocolate, marzipan, raspberries, cherry soup, star gazing at camping events and being able to fill a photo SD card before an event is over.

As Baron and Baroness, we enjoy participating in events, demos, practices, arts and sciences days and socializing in the mundane way as well.  We love to see what the populous is creating/doing and would like to support you in anyway we can.
